Personal
Review
Victor
Chandler Poker has grown and grown. I remember
when I first came across this place, it was small,
but I enjoyed it even as such. The thing that I enjoyed
the most was that when I came across Victor Chandler,
I was also relatively new to the game.
Here I foud a lot of info that helped me understand
the game of poker and the ways to play and also the
basic strategies that I was missing when playing,
especially in tournaments. The Poker
School is perfect for a new player to learn about
online poker and if you think you know it all, you
will be surprised at what else you can learn here.
They also have loads of other poker
information. Once you have the hang of it, you
can then start taking part in the tournaments and
try and win some big money. Have a look at the tournament
guide for more details on that.
Victor Chandler is a well respected name in the gambling
industry, online as well as offline. Offline is where
they really made a huge name for themselves.

Tournaments
WSOP - They're giving away seats to this
tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada in May 2004.
Single Table Tournaments (STTs) - Single
Table Tournaments have a fixed payout structure.
Multi-Table Tournaments (MTTs) - The payout
structure for multi-table tournaments is determined
by a number of factors: how many entrants there are,
the stakes, the guaranteed payout pool (if any), and
any funds added to the prize pool by the house.
Satellite Tournaments - The prize pool
of the Satellite Tournament goes to buy the seat in
the more expensive Multi-Table Final. The prize pool
in a Multi-Table Final can build to a large amount quickly.
ReBuy / Add-on Tournaments - A rebuy is
a purchase of additional chips that a player makes during
a predefined period of a tournament. An add-on is an
additional purchase of chips offered to all players.
Rake
The Poker Room (House) earns its money by taking a small
portion of
the pot, in real money games. Not all real money hands
are raked. They have a No Flop, No Drop policy. You
can see the current rake in a game by clicking on the
"?" in the upper right hand corner of a real
money table.
